Why Proficienzy
While helping my son Yude, a Grade 9 student, prepare for his exams, I turned to ChatGPT to generate practice questions. However, I quickly realized its limitations. When I asked it to create a question about calculating the force acting on a pivot, the responses were either overly simplified or missed crucial details from the curriculum.
Worse, explanations often failed to align with the questions. I also noticed inconsistencies, such as similar questions being answered with completely different logic.
This experience highlighted the need for a more reliable and accurate AI tool tailored to educational needs. Driven by this realization, I began training a GPT, focusing on precision, curriculum alignment, and contextual relevance. What started as a personal challenge evolved into a passion project, ultimately leading to the creation of Proficienzy.
